Computer facilities With the recent boom in Information Technology, computer has become an absolute necessity in every profession and in every stream of study. At B.P.Poddar Institute of Management and Technology, we have invested heavily in establishing and maintaining an excellent computing system that integrates the uses of IT in every discipline and course. Efficient and competent instructors are always available to clarify queries and ensure introductory and fundamental training in computers .each of modern and highly advanced computer laboratory is equipped with 35 state-of-the-art computers. Library facilities for students : The Central Library is an open access library, conveniently located in the academic building. The library has a fairly large collection of books and journals with over 4000 titles on various topics. It has more than 17,474 books comprising of textbooks, journals, periodicals, manuals etc. The library collection is constantly revised and upgraded with latest editions and new inclusions. An attempt is forever made to maintain significantly high numbers of essential text books. A well organized desk, separately housed in a reading room, with important and valuable collections, is a ready to use reference facility for students as well as faculties.
